Every Denning Phoenix coach is custom built to suit the customer’s requirements, with all engineering services and support provided in-house by Denning. With a choice of 2 axle and 3 axle variants, with lengths from 9.7m to 14.5m and floor heights from 1250mm up to 1700mm. Denning coaches can be configured for all applications. Options for passenger comfort are extensive and include toilets, overhead parcel racks, video/DVD system, air conditioning and carpet.
Based on the ever-popular Denning “Phoenix” 3 axle integral coach, the double deck is custom built to suit operator requirements. It can be configured for charter, day tours, express and even as a high capacity school bus. It includes the exclusive-to-Denning dual-tyred lazy axle to provide maximum passenger and luggage capacity in a total length of 12.5m. The Double Deck also offers the ability to provide wheelchair access without the need for a lifting platform.
The Denning low floor utilises much of the same running gear as the proven Denning two axle Phoenix. While most commonly produced at 12.5m, the Low floor can also be produced in various lengths from 10.2m to 13.3m. While traditionally specified as a 2-door urban bus, variants with a ramped floor and storage bins are now also being produced for use as wheelchair accessible coaches and school buses, eliminating the need for motorised lifters.. Many options are available to allow the low floor to be specified for a multitude of applications.
Based on the well known and proven Denning two axle Phoenix with 57 seats. With a floor height of 1250mm providing plenty of bin storage area and optional front kneeling, it means this vehicle can also perform charter work. CCTV, security system and vehicle tracking can be provided at the customer’s requirements.
Most of the Denning Phoenix chassis are also available for purchase, to be bodied by your existing body builder. Every chassis is custom built to suit the needs of the fleet Operator. Our range of chassis covers wheelchair accessible low floor’s, through to high-decks, to suit body lengths between 9.7m and 14.5m. We can also vary the lengths & heights to suit your body builder’s requirements, eliminating the need for them to perform chassis modifications. A full range of options is available, including raising, kneeling, Alcoa aluminium rims, TS 155 interlocks and diff lock.
